Prologue: Limbo City

                            Prologue: Limbo City

                       (500 years after the great catastrosphe)

       A young woman is running through the ruins of Limbo City with two demons chasing her. The woman isn't looking where she's going, and runs down an alley way in an attempt to escape from the demons. She soon realizes her deadly mistake as she comes to a dead end, turns around to face the two Hell Prides that have her trapped. She starts to scream as the Hell Prides come towards her hoping that someone will hear her cries for help.

                        Young Woman (Screaming)

        STAY AWAY FROM ME! SOMEONE, ANYONE HELP! SAVE ME PLEASE!

      Just behind the two Hell Prides is another young woman dressed in a black leather trenchcoat, sliver vest, black leather pants, with a sliver belt, and black leather combat boots. Her long sliver hair is tied back by a black hair tie. Her crystal blue eyes are hidden by dark shades. Around her neck on a sliver chain is a black and red amulet. On her hands are black leather fingerless gloves, and on her back is the legendary katana Rebellion.  The young woman watches as the other woman dressed in black spin kicks the first Hell Pride into the wall with such force that the demon's head smashes into the wall and the demon dies. The second Hell Pride then turns around and faces her growling at her in Japanese.

                       Hell Pride (Growling in Japanese)

            Anata wo sono ko(domo) no Dante soshite Delia Sparda!

       Raven looks at the Hell Pride her eyes are narrowed dangerously behind her black shades. She lets out a very feral sounding growl as she warns the Hell Pride in Japanese.

                       Raven (Warning)

 Suru (de) nay iu ichi yori oi tango daitai watakushi no kazoku akuma!

          The Hell pride looks at Raven with a sicking smile on his face as the demon can see how angered Raven is becoming at the mention of her murdered family. Raven responds by only growling as the Hell Pride licked its lips in front of her. The Hell Pride then responds to Raven's growl.

                        Hell Pride (Responding)

             Anata no kazoku shite iru eikyu e taberu.

           Raven then unsheathes Rebellion and then looks at the frightened woman cowering on the ground behind the Hell Pride. Raven can see the fear, and pleading in the woman's eyes as she calls out to the woman in English.

                   Raven (To the woman in English)

Lass close your eyes and keep them closed until Aye tell ye otherwise. Ye dinna want te see what Ay'm about te do te this demon asshole.

          The woman nods her head to Raven then she closes her eyes as the Hell Pride starts to walk towards Raven. Raven holds her katana in her right hand while her left hand reaches up and removes her dark shades revealing her crystal blue eyes. she puts the shades into her trenchcoat pocket then holds her sword with both hands. Raven glares at the Hell Pride with intense rage, and hate in her eyes.

                   Raven (Speaking in Japanese)

       Anata wo de nai shuppatsu e korosu daredomo itsuka mata!

        Raven and the Hell Pride then rush at each at the same time. The Hell Pride swings its scythe down on Raven hoping to slice her down the middle but Raven brought her sword up quickly and blocked the scythe before it could touch her. Raven then kicks the Hell Pride away from her and then attack the demon with her own sword swinging low and cutting the Hell Prides leg. The Hell Pride hisses in rage at Raven's attack then swings its scythe at her again trying to harm her but again Raven is able to block the blow with Rebellion. Raven and the Hell Pride lock blades each in a deadlock until Raven then aims a kick at the demon's midsection kicking him away from her then she reaches under her trenchcoat and grabs her two twin trusty handguns Vengeance and Avenger. Raven the whips them out and quickly shoots the Hell Pride before it could recover. The Hell Pride dies when the bullets hit, and it turns to dust. Raven then holsters Vengeance and Avenger back under her trenchcoat then walks over to the young woman who is cowering on the ground. Raven stops by her and kneels down on the ground, and gently places her right fingerless glove hand on her shoulder as she uses a gentle tone.

                          Raven (Speaking in English)

Tis all right lass ye can open yer eyes now. The demon bastard is gone an ye won't be bothered by them again. Can ye stand up lass?

           The young woman opens her eyes looking at the empty alley then she looks at Raven who was closing her eyes to hide her crystal blue eyes from her. Raven then reaches into her trenchcoat pocket and pulled out her dark shades. Raven then puts them on, and opens her eyes to see the young woman looking at her. Raven then stands up, and offers her hand to the young woman who takes it gratefully. Raven then helps the young woman up on her feet. The young woman then looks at the empty alley to see a pile of dust then looks at the female devil hunter. Raven then just raises an eyebrow at the young woman as she asks her a question in English.

         Young Woman (Speaking in English)

         My name is Elena. Who are you?

             Raven just sighs at Elena's question, and at her introduction. Raven then shakes her head in annoyance as she reaches again into her trenchcoat and taking out a business card which she then holds out to Elena who takes it from the devil hunter after a minute of uncertainty. Raven then turns and walks away as Elena is reading the card, and when Elena looks up she can see that she's alone in the alley. Elena looks at the card again and reads it out loud in confusion.

                           Elena (Confused)

Devil May Cry? Owned, and runed by Raven Sparda? Is that who just saved me? A decedent of the Legendary Dark Knight Dante?
