                      Chapter 8 - Limbo Castle Tea Room

    Raven is standing in the darkness alert listening for anything that moves. Raven's fingerless gloved hands tighten around her two guns Vengeance, and Avenger as two small white demonic spirits rise up out of the ground by her boots, and they start to circle her. As the spirits rise to head level Raven turns her head to the right to see one float above her as the little sprits start to speak in Japanese.

                    Demonic Spirit #1 (Speaking Japanese)

                    Watakushi nioi ame ga...

    Raven continues to stay still as the small spirits continue to speak in Japanese as she listens to what they are saying about her.

                    Demonic Spirit #2 (Speaking Japanese)

                    Ame ga niois...niois...

                   Niois no ningen.

                   Hai ame ga surues!

  As Raven still listens to the spirits she then hears a demoic man start to speak in Japanese. Raven then starts to look for the demon speaking.

                      Voice (Speaking Japanese)

Ame ga's (o) cha jikan! (O)cha jikan! (O) cha jikan! (O) cha no chi. Supun no hone. Gashi          no niku. Ame ga's (o) cha jikan!

  Raven then looks up to see a table floating in the air, and a man in a tux and a top hat sitting at the table with his hands folded as he continues to speak in Japanese.

                    Man (cont'd)

                    Ame ga's (o) cha jikan!

   Raven then sees Rabbi sitting at the table by the man. On the table Raven can see a silver plate that has a silver cover on it as the plate is in the middle of the table. The man looks at Raven as she narrows her eyes at the both of them as the man continues to speak in Japanese.

               Man (Cont'd)

Kirameki, kirameki, chiisai komori...doyatte Watakushi odoroki nani anata wo ni. (De) nai zenbu no hitotsu akuma...mada han(bun) hitotsu josei.

   Raven narrows her eyes at the man as she hears him say this but she refuses to speak as the man continues with speaking in japanese.

              Man (Cont'd)

Ah, hai...ame ga's kanojo (no)! Sono kodomo umaretsuki (no) ni yotte Dante, soshite sono ningen josai!

  The man can see that Raven is glaring at him in anger, and he can see that Raven is gripping her guns in anger as he mentions her beloved parents. The man looks at Rabbi as he continues to speak in Japanese to Rabbi while keeping a close eye on Raven's reactions.

             Man (Cont'd)

Sore's migi (no)! Sono otosan, okasan, soshite kyodai shite iru korosued ni yotte akumas. Sore's doshite kanojo karis karera o.

    Rabbi nods his head to show the man that he agrees with him as he looks at Raven, and he can see that she's trembling with rage at what they were saying. Raven looks at Rabbi with rage in her eyes as he speaks in Japanese.

              Rabbi (Speaking in Japanese)

             Honto ni shiyu yori sukunai, kanojo futte.

   Raven then just grips Vengeance, and Avenger tighter in her fingerless gloved hands as she grinds her teeth to try and control her temper. Raven then tries to ignore the insults that Rabbi and the man are saying about her family, and about her. Raven takes a deep breath in then holds it as she calms herself down as she then lets it go slowly. Raven knows that she has to get Alice away from these demons, and fast before anything happens to her. Raven also knows that these demons know where Alice is, and so for now Raven will have to play their little game. Raven just keeps silent as the man continues to speak in Japanese.

              Man (Cont'd)

Doshite, Watakushi dekiru (de)nai nameraka (na) tsukuru hitotsu scone soto kanojo (no).

  The man then gives Rabbi a sick smile of pleasure as he looks at him, and continues to speak in Japanese.

              Man (Cont'd)

Watakushi ikubun ka aru Alice. Kanojo's shiroi soshite yawarakai, soshite oh, so (o) kashi...watakushitachi dekiru (de)nai aru watashitachi (no) (o) cha nashi de watashitachi (no) (o) kashis...oh, iie, watashitachi dekiru (de) nai.

    Raven then aims Avenger at the man as she heard, and had enough from him as she narrows her eyes at the both of them. Raven then speaks in Japanese to the man.

             Raven (Speaking in Japanese)

Anata wo sono kichigai (no) boshier migi (no)? Ido Watakushi kitto anata dekiru (de) nai "soto nekkyo (no)" hitotsu dangen.

   The mad hatter looks at Raven with fear on his face as he continues to speak in Japanese to her.

           Mad Hatter (Cont'd)

Iie hitsuyo e imasu sore hoho...(a) soko de's jubun no kanojo (no) e iku shui no...

    Raven just narrows her eyes at the mad hatter in disgust as she replies to him in Japanese.

             Raven (Replying to Mad Hatter)

Iie kansha no kotoba. (De) nai kyomi. Denwa watakushi o itsu anata aru kereba piza (pai) soshite hitotsu chiisai taru no naka de sore meirei.

   The mad hatter then sighs to himself as he can see that Raven is being quite difficult to deal with, and he starts to speak in English hoping that Raven will cooperate with him better then in Japanese. So the mad hatter asks Raven a question.

               Mad Hatter (Asking Raven in English)

              When is a raven like a writing desk?

   Raven just narrows her eyes at the mad hatter as he asks her this question. Raven then begins to squeeze Avenger's trigger to show the mad hatter that she won't play his little word games. The mad hatter can see Raven starting to pull the trigger on her gun, and he gulps quickly as he then nervously replies to Raven.

               Mad Hatter (Nervously replies to Raven)

               I can't give you Alice. Alice is...

  Raven then growls inwardly to herself as she keeps her finger on Avenger's trigger as she keeps the gun on the mad hatter. Raven then speaks in English to the mad hatter.

             Raven (Speaking in English to Mad Hatter)

               Last chance screw ball. Where is she?

      The mad hatter looks at Raven in confusion as he hears her say this, and replies to Raven's confusing insult.

             Mad Hatter (Replies to Raven)

I'm not a screw ball. Not a screw ball! My ball is barren of screws!

  Raven then just sighs to herself as she also rolls her eyes in annoyance at the mad hatter as she then replies to him.

          Raven (Replying to Mad Hatter)

Geez...guess it's a good thing I didn't call you "shithead" huh?

  Raven keeps her gun aimed at the mad hatter as she narrows her eyes at him in annoyance, and as she continues to speak in English.

              Raven (Cont'd)

Listen...you're a loon. I get that. Hell, one time I got so wasted I asked a mop to marry me because I thought it was a hot guy. So I'm not one to judge. That said, nutty or not, I'll feng shui this room with your diseased brains if you don't give me the girl.

    The mad hatter looks over to Rabbi, and speaks to him in Japanese.

            Mad Hatter (Speaking to Rabbi in Japanese)

Kore futte (de) nai shigotoing, Watakushi ga kowai. Iie, iie. (A) soko de futte iie hanashiing e kore ichi.

   Rabbi nods his head to the mad hatter in understanding as he asks the mad hatter a question in Japanese.

           Rabbi (Asking Mad Hatter in Japanese)

           Tabun watashitachi beki shotai sono hoka (no) ichi?

    Raven glares at the both of them, and narrows her eyes dangerously at them as she asks them both a question in Japanese.

        Raven (Asking both in Japanese)

           Sono hoka (no) ichi?

   The mad hatter looks at Raven as he then points at her. He then answers her question.

           Mad Hatter (Answering Raven)

          Onaji kao. Onaji kao onaji kurai anata.   

      Raven's eyes then widened after she hears what the mad hatter just told her this. Raven is shaking her head in shock that she didn't notice that a shadow was sneaking around her foot, and the next thing that Raven knows she's hanging in midair by her foot upside down. Raven can see that a huge shadow demon in the form of a grinning cat is holding her up by one leg, and grinning at her.

    As Raven is hanging upside down in the air she is still holding onto her guns Vengeance, and Avenger in her fingerless gloved hands. Raven is looking at the mad hatter and Rabbi as they both just sit at the table in a calm manner. The mad hatter looks at Raven as he then removes the cover on the platter that is on the table to show Alice's head on the platter. Raven looks at the head on the platter, and she's careful to not show the disgust on her face as she can see that it's Alice's head on the platter. Raven then asks a question while trying not to throw up at the sight before her.

               Raven (Asking)

               Alice?

   Alice's eyes opened as Raven asks this question. Raven can see that Alice's eyes are hollow as the head begins to laugh demonically.

           Alice (Laughing demonically)

             KYAHAHA! KYAHAHA!

  Raven then narrows her eyes as she sees this, and Raven then swears to herself quietly that she should've known that it wasn't really the head of Alice.

            Raven (Quietly swearing to herself)

            Damn.

   The demon's head then laughs at Raven as the demon can see that she is hanging in the air, and then the head then speaks to Raven.

           Demon Head (Speaking in English to Raven)

Who would have guessed the bloodline of Dante remains intact?!? HA HA HA!

   Raven narrows her eyes at the demonic head as it laughs at her. Then the demonic head continues to speak to Raven in English.

            Demon Head (Cont'd)

      His power lives in you, demon slayer! You reek of it!

   Raven just rolls her eyes in annoyance at the demon for stating the obvious about her father, and then she replies sarcastically to the demon in English.

            Raven (Replying sarcastically in English to the demon)

    Is that so? And to think the hatter said I wasn't worthy of being a scone.

   The demon head just looks at Raven not knowing what to think of her rebelliousness as the head then replies to her.

            Demon Head (Replying to Raven)

Worthy?! HA HA HA! The hatter was right! You aren't worthy, you traitor's daughter! KYA HA HA HA!

   Raven just sighs to herself in annoyance as she then speaks to the demonic head in English.

             Raven (Cont'd)

Hey, much as I'd love to discuss family trees and exchange baby photos, I'm kinda on the clock here. Where's the girl?

   The demonic head glares at Raven as she says this but the demon answers her anyway.

           Demonic Head (Answering Raven)

           The girl is lost to you, traitor's daughter!             

   Raven then sighs to herself in annoyance at the demonic head as she then aims Vengeance at the head, and replies.

            Raven (Replies to demon)

          Is that so...? Then I guess you're of no use to me.

   Raven then squeezes Vengeance's trigger shooting the demonic head clear off the table as both Rabbi, and the mad hatter watch in silence. After Raven kills the demonic head the huge shadow demonic cat then throws Raven with force towards a window where she smashes into it then she falls to the ground as the mad hatter, and Rabbi watch from the table they can see Raven knocked out as she hits the ground.
