Epilogue - Dr. Ragland's Morgue
Raven is laying on a metal table in a morgue. Three people are standing over her as she starts to wake up slowly. Zeus notices Raven beginning to stir, and waves his hand to the other two to move back to give her some room. They did as Raven suddenly sits up, and puts a hand to her head as she looks around seeing no one familiar until she looks at a man wearing a black jacket, grey hoodie, and blue jeans next to her. Raven sees that he's looking at her as he then speaks to her.
Zeus (Speaking)
Ah...I see that the beautiful and rare silver haired and blue eyed Raven is finally awake.
Raven looks at the man, and again puts a hand to her head as memories of the man flash through her mind. She gives a soft groan of pain as she remembers the man's name, and the name passes her lips in the form of a question.
Raven (Asking)
Zeus...?
Zeus nods his head to Raven as he then helps her off the table. As Raven's feet touch the ground she stumbles, and almost falls to the floor but Zeus catches her, and holds her up as he then speaks to her.
Zeus (Speaking)
Yes Raven it's me. However...Zeus is the codename that the military has given me. And that is the name I told you to call me. But my true name is Alex J. Mercer.
Raven looks at Alex for a second, and nods her head to him in understanding. She then looks away from Alex to the other two people in the room for a second then she looks back at Alex as she raises an eyebrow at him in a silent question. Alex sees Raven's raised eyebrow as he then looks at the other two who nod their heads at him, and Alex then looks back at Raven, and answers her unasked question.
Alex (Speaking)
Raven this is my younger sister Dana Mercer, and the man next to her is a good friend of ours. His name is Dr. Bradley Ragland. Listen Raven I found you in the church catacombs on the ground so I brought you here to Ragland's Morgue. Now I have a question for you.
Raven looks at Dana, and Dr. Ragland as Alex speaks to her but she made sure to nod her head to him in order to show him that she was listening to every word that he said. Raven then looks at Alex as he said that he has a question for her, and again she nods her head for him to continue. As Alex sees Raven nod her head to him he then asks her his question.
Alex (Asking)
Raven...can you remember anything?
Raven then places a hand on her head as flashes of the events go through her mind, and once again she gives a groan of pain as she tries to remember but can't. After a few minutes Raven slowly lowers her hand from her head, and looks at Alex, Dana, and Dr. Ragland as she can see their looking at her expectantly. Raven sighs, and slowly shakes her head as she then speaks.
Raven (Speaking)
No...I can't...remember anything. I didn't even know my own name until you said it Alex.
Alex then sighs, and nods his head to Raven. Then he notices that her clothes are basically ripped beyond repair. Alex tries not to stare too much at Raven's exposed chest since her vest is nothing but tatters. Raven can see Alex looking away from her, and she then looks down, and sees the reason why. Raven then tries to use her trenchcoat to cover herself up but like her vest it too was ripped to tatters.
Alex then walks Raven to a chair that has a black duffle bag on it, and has her sit on the chair next to it as he opens the duffle bag and pulls out a bundle of clothes in which he hands the bundle to Raven. Raven then nods her head in thanks as she sees Alex point to a changing room right next to them. Raven then slowly gets up from the chair, and walks into the changing room, and closes the curtain. Alex then turns his back to give Raven more privacy as he sees Dana, and Dr. Ragland look at him. Before Alex can even say a word Raven comes out of the changing room.
Alex then turns around to see Raven wearing a black leather jacket over a dark blue hoodie that's zipped up, dark blue jeans with a silver belt, and black steel toed combat boots. He can also see that on her hands she's wearing black fingerless gloves. Alex then sees that he can see Raven's glazed over blue eyes, and some of her sliver bangs are showing. Alex can also see that Raven is wearing the amulet around her neck as always.
Alex then walks to Raven slowly so he wouldn't alarm her. Raven can see Alex walking towards her with lust in his eyes, and she can't help but feel the lust for him that runs through her. An Alex gets close to Raven he then stops in front of her, and she can feel his inhuman body heat but she doesn't flinch from it. Alex then gently wrapped his arms around Raven holding her as gently as he can. Alex can feel Raven's body stiffen as he does this but after a few seconds he feels her relax in his arms.
Alex then leans down, and gently presses his lips to Raven's as he closes his eyes he can see Raven's eyes go wide for a second then like his eyes she closes hers as she gripped his jacket as they share a kiss between them. After a few minutes Alex then breaks the kiss by gently pulling away from Raven as he hears her moan in protest from the lost warmth of his lips on hers. Raven then looks at Alex from under her hood, and speaks to him.
Raven (Speaking)
Alex...I want to remember who I was. I want to remember...what I used to do. But most importantly...I want to find the bastards that did this to me...find out why they did this to me...and then make them wish that they were never even born.
Alex gives Raven a small smile as he nods his head in agreement with her as he then speaks to her.
Alex (Speaking)
Dana and I will both help you gain your memories back since I'm trying to gain mine back as well. As long as you help me stop the virus that's spread like wildfire in Fortuna.
Raven then nods her head in agreement to Alex as they share another kiss.
